August 15, 2003 - Update from Dave Gross, Scholarship Fund Chairman
Scholarship Details
In conjunction with Tri-State University, a Memorial Scholarship has been set up in the name of Indiana Theta Alumni that have passed away recently: Noah McLain, Jeff Haskins, Greg Bonardi, Dan McKinney, Robert Spicer and William Toney.
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a brother must be "an active Sigma Phi Epsilon member, have leadership abilities as demonstrated in the community, on campus and in the fraternity, which are customary for the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5. They may declare any approved major and shall be sophomore, junior or senior status. The recipient(s) will not be on academic probation."
A letter of solicitation was mailed in June 2002 to many Alumni by Brother David Gross (Alpha Theta). If you can, please consider making a donation toward the scholarship fund. All donations will be sent to and administrated by Tri-State University. A donors card (Microsoft Word Document) is available for your use and your donation is also tax deductible. For more information on the Scholarship, please read Brother Gross' letter.
Regular updates will be made to the list of donors on this page. Any other news in regards to the Scholarship will posted here as it happens.
