TSU to change name in '09

In a press conference this afternoon, Tri-State University President Earl Brooks announced that on June 1, 2009, Tri-State University will continue operations under the name Trine University. Brooks indicated many factors went into this decision, namely the Trine being the name of the University's biggest benefactors, Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine, the common usage of Tri-State to name areas across the United States and the many institutions that go by TSU.

More about this announcement can be found in this press release.
