In July of this year, any Indiana Theta alum whose address was current with SigEp Nationals received a letter stating the chapter was on "Notice to be Closed" due to lack of manpower. It is Nationals' requirement to maintain at least 40 men on the chapter roster. Indiana Theta was below this number, and often is due to the size of the Trine campus.
We are happy to report that Indiana Theta has been taken OFF the "Notice to be Closed" list. A big thanks goes out to the Indiana Theta Alumni Board, Lambda House for contacting SigEp Nationals and straightening the situation out. If you received the original letter in July, you should receive a follow up letter with more details on the removal and the success of the chapter. This is excellent news. I am hopeful that with the opening of the new facility and the quality of our current actives we will see the new house become full to capacity in a very short time.
