Homecoming 2011

October 2011

Brothers,

This past Homecoming Weekend saw 150 brothers, actives and their friends and families come back to share in a great meal together, view a slide show of old pictures, and dance to a live band at the new house. We also unveiled our Engraved Brick Fundraising Program. A total of 23 bricks where installed in the sidewalk leading up to the red front door. Brothers, parents and friends of Sigma Phi Epsilon and Alpha Gamma Upsilon can purchase engraved bricks that will be installed during a ceremony each year at Homecoming Weekend.

As you know if you have been back to Angola recently things have changed. Our old house is gone, replaced with a $1.3 million chapter house that will meet out needs for decades to come. My old dorm building, Stewart Hall, has been taken down and replaced with the football stadium, and of course even the name has been changed to Trine.

One thing that has not changed is the memories of the friends we made, and the good times we had together. Alumni do not come back to see the buildings, or a name, but to be old friends again and to make new ones. I hope you stay in touch and plan to make it back to
Angola for our next SigEp event.

Y
ou are a part of our past, now we ask you to help continue the legacy by making a contribution to the Lambda House Annual Fund. Your donation will be directed to paying off the new house mortgage, provide the resources for alumni communications, alumni events, and to assist the chapter as needed.
